The STAND4Kids National Hub for pediatric clinical trials integrates the Scientific Coordination Committee of the Master in Clinical Research of the Lisbon School of Medicine (FMUL).
The Master in Clinical Research from FMUL is an innovative education and training program that offers an integrated and multidisciplinary vision for the promotion of excellent clinical research that aims to train research teams with multidisciplinary professionals highly specialized in clinical research management.
FMUL has extensive knowledge and relevant experience in clinical research through its research centers and platforms, with a team of professors made up of researchers with extensive clinical experience and collaborators with a strong component in clinical research management, thus ensuring a solid training program for the students.
The training promoted by the Master in Clinical Research guarantees compliance with the ethical and methodological standards defined by the Good Clinical Practices (BCP) as well as by national and European legislation on clinical trials, thus professionalizing clinical research in its various areas of activity (health units, universities, academic centers, pharmaceutical and health technology companies, clinical research organizations – CROs).
